Methodist Education Network
The Izabela Hendrix Methodist Institute belongs to the Methodist Education Network that was officially created by the XVIII General Conference of the Methodist church in Brazil in 2006. This network is constituted by the units of Primary education, Junior High School, High School and Higher Education instituted by the Methodist church. These, together with the units of theological education and the agencies of Christian education, compose the Methodist Education Network, one of the areas where the church searches to fulfill its mission and to develop its ministry, exerting effective public presence and contributing to the Brazilian society.
We are more than 50 educational institutions distributed in all regions of Brazil and in almost all the states of the Country. Some of them are centenaries and have been pioneers in the application of pedagogical innovations; others, younger, inherited the tradition of Methodist education, with its educational processes committed to principles and values, as well as deeply compromised with the search of quality in all levels.
These educational institutions offer formation, more than mere information. The network includes units of great, average and small units. It offers from primary education to PhD. It also holds e-learning education, projects with elder people and expressive extension and research projects.
